vredo DISC INJECTORS

Suitable for grassland and arable land

Profi eco

Simple and precise

The PROFI ECO series is available in the version with the solid V-disc and hydraulic valves (DS H). Vredo has consciously opted for a slightly smaller diameter single V-disk suspended from a light dual element. The smart design gives the single V-disc a low rolling resistance that penetrates much easier than the traditional convex disc.

The single V-disc creates minimal soil compaction and enables maximum slurry absorption. The single V-disc is more wear resistant which combined with low rolling resistance, results in lower fuel consumption.

The fully hot-dip galvanised frame has almost the same frame construction and elements as the PROFI, but is constructed from lighter material. The narrowly constructed centre frame ensures compact dimensions in transport mode.In combination with its minimal weight and the universal coupling options, this makes the PROFI ECO the perfect match for any towed tank.

The injector can be mounted very close to the towing vehicle to achieve ideal weight distribution.

Profi

Big in performance

The Vredo Profi injector is equipped as standard in its familiar double disc design, allowing the slurry to be deposited in a sharp cut for maximum nitrogen absorption.

After market research and interviews with users, we decided to also develop a single V-disc version. The single V-disc is ideal for applying slurry to spring crops such as grain and maize, but of course also for slurry injection on stubble. The discs are mounted on a maintenance-free and mechanically sprung dual disc holder. This reduces the weight and guarantees optimal contour following properties.

In addition, the use of maintenance-free torsion rubbers means the dual elements steer along. The torsion rubbers, in combination with the smart spring construction in which the spring is mounted on the frame, means the disc holder is self-aligning.

Profi XL

Powerhouse among precision injectors

Vredo’s latest slurry injector is the PROFI XL series for self-propelled vehicles and larger towed tanks and is the first in its class offering an 18-metre variant in addition to the 15-metre model. Ingenious folding systems make it possible to keep this injector compact. Active levelling systems ensure the contour-following character of the injector. The individually sprung DUAL elements ensure optimal following of the soil contours.

SSU

The Vredo SSU is a self-contained unit with a universal injector coupling in the form of a three-point hitch and optional multifaster, which ensures that any type of injector can be attached for umbilical slurry technology in the future.

The unit has its own control box and load sensing hydraulics in combination with ISOBUS.

Umbilical with every injector

The new Vredo SSU concept enables all injectors up to 18 metres that do not fold forward to be attached with one coupling. In addition to standard application behind a towed tank or self-propelled vehicle, using the Vredo SSU means your own injector(s) can also be used for umbilical technology.

Compact, flexible and manoeuvrable

Thanks to its compact design and a minimal length increase of 12 cm compared with a standard three-point hitch, the centre of gravity of the combination stays close to the towing vehicle and ensures excellent weight distribution.

The arm’s pivoting point is close to the towing vehicle. Combined with the automatic retraction mechanism this ensures the unit easy manoeuvrability and steering. As the arm’s pulling point is level with the lower draw bar, no weight is transferred to the rear when pulling.

The Vredo SSU rotates on two pivot points in the arm, so reversing is even possible. The supply hose will move next to the towing vehicle without exerting extreme forces on the hose or the SSU construction.

As the SSU arm rotates over the injector, the supply hose never pulls on the injector itself. The supply hose does not obstruct any of the injector elements so slurry is applied at the same row distance over the entire working width without making any concessions to the overall slurry application performance.
